Taylor (Legally William Taylor, but he dropped the William as a kid and never looked back) is interested in the intersection of educational content and design sensibility. If we want learners to value and implement the skills we educate on, solid content needs to be married to innovative design. Perceived value is one part utility and one part presentation, and when our learning content is presented as meticulously crafted, learners will take it more seriously.

He has honed both sides of this equation through decades of educational and design work - from classroom education, field education on project management software, technical training and advising for Apple, gaining his Masters in Business Administration, serving as owner and operator of a independent videogame development company, to his current role as instructional design manager.

A lifetime learner, Taylor lives in Dallas, TX and can usually be found learning something new when he isn’t working: Spanish, coding, the best places to visit on his next trip, or whatever new interest grabs his attention and refuses to let go. It doesn’t hurt that he’s a bit of a nerd.
